An Army veteran who enjoyed hunting, John Thomas Greenlaw died Sunday, Feb. 8, 2004, in Vancouver. He was 81.
Mr. Greenlaw was born Dec. 17, 1922, in Tacoma and had lived in Vancouver since 1966.
His wife, Alice P., died in 1991.
Survivors include three daughters, Kellie Karll and Kathy Stuff, both of Vancouver and Mary J. Essary of Dallas, Texas; one son, John T. Jr. of Fort Collins, Colo.; one sister, Julia Revette of Tacoma; two brothers, Cy of Tacoma and Stan of Corning, Calif.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
There will be an open house at 10 a.m. at Mr. Greenlaw's home. Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorial contributions may be made to Doernbecher Children's Hospital Foundation, M/S 20, P.O. Box 4100, Portland, OR 97208-9908."

A gathering will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004, in the home of John Thomas Greenlaw, who died Feb. 8 at age 81.
Mr. Greenlaw was born Dec. 17, 1922, in Tacoma, Wash. He served in the Army during World War II. He moved in 1966 to Vancouver, where he was a lineman and foreman for Pacific Northwest Bell for 42 years. In 1947, he married Alice Pearl Burgy; she died in 1991.
Survivors include his daughters, Kellie Karll, Mary Jane Essary and Kathy Stuff; son, John Jr.; sister, Julia Revette; brothers, Cy and Stan; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
