He was a member of the Puyallup Elks Lodge #1450, Puyallup Eagles Aerie #2308 and Eagles "Duffers Group", Linden Golf and Country Club, Lipoma Men's Club, G.T.B.A. Bowling Hall of Fame and Washington State Bowling Hall of Fame. Survived by his loving wife, Helen, of the home; daughter Shannon Scholz of Tacoma; brother Ken (JoAnn) Scholz of Orting; niece and nephew, Kristi and Monte; numerous cousins; and special friends Bill Keener of Tacoma, Don (Sherry) Schrock of Indiana, and George (Jean) Morgan of Puyallup. She married Buck Scholz in 1966; he preceded her in death in 1999. Helen worked in the food service industry and enjoyed her seasonal jobs working at the Red Barn Tree Farm and at Mr. Bill’s Pizza at the Puyallup Fair for 20 plus years. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Puyallup Eagles Auxiliary #2308. Survived by her daughter, Shannon Scholz and Bill Keener, Tacoma. Helen was one of nine children. A memorial service will be held on Monday, 11 a.m. at Sumner United Methodist Church, 901 Wood Ave., Sumner. A reception will follow at the Puyallup Eagles. This is what I found for Doctor Annie E. Reynolds for the time period of 1902 through to 1923.
First time her name appears in the Tacoma City Directory is in 1902. Her home address is listed as 706 Asotin. Ditto for the year 1903.
1905 Doctor Reynolds has he medical office at 408-409 California Bldg. and home address at 802 S. Ainsworth.
1906 her home address changes to 39 St. Helens.
1909 her home address changes to 700 South Grant till 1914.
1915 her home address changes to 1010 N. 8th
In 1919 a Virginia C. Reynolds appears with the listing. (Although, I believe Virginia lived with her Aunt, several years before this. Doctor was the reason why Virginia graduated from Tacoma High School (Stadium) as a girl.)
1920-1922 Doctor Reynolds and Virginia are listed living at 1010 N. 8th.
In 1923 there is no listing for Doctor Reynolds office (which remained at the California Bldg. through this time period) nor home listing. This must be about the time, she closed her private practice and traveled while giving medical examines for an insurance company. She kept the house at 1010 North 8th during this time. She actually kept the house until her death in the mid 1950's, when she left the house to my Grandmother, Virginia C. (Reynolds) Lee. Then my Grandparents moved into the house, until they sold it in about 1959. I know Doctor retired, and moved back into the house at 1010 N. 8th until her death in Tacoma.
