| HARRY NEEDHAM: 1865 -
4 August 1947 Obit published in Ellensburg Daily Record on August 4, 1947, obtained from Ellensburg Public Library, Local History Collection. "DEATH COMES TO HARRY NEEDHAM, 82 Harry Needham, 82, a resident of Ellensburg and the Kittitas Valley for the past 60 years died last night at a local hospital. He suffered a stroke at his home and was rushed to the hospital. He died shortly after admission. Engaged in mining and farming throughout the greater part of his life, the elderly pioneer settler had not been active in recent years. He had been in failing health for 16 months. He was born in England and came to the United States at an early age. He was a member of the Episcopal church. Survivors include his wife, Narcissus; two daughters, Mrs. Gladys McNeil of Ellensburg, and Mrs. Winifred Hollenbeck of Mandan, N. D.; a son, George D. Needham of Kettle Falls, Wash., six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements have not been completed." The information on this web site is for your personal use only.
